Outdoors Inn

Great motel in Sandpoint! Room was huge with a nice kitchenette. We had a wonderful night's sleep in the cozy bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Automatic check-in was seamless. Will return!

The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a little kitchenette that includes a sink and a few cups, plates, and bowls which was handy because I forgot to bring our dogs' food bowls. We checked in and out completely online without ever having to go to a front desk which made it super easy. The only negative of this place is that it is right next to the highway and train tracks but I think the room made up for it. Also, they provided a sound maker and a pair of earplugs if we needed them.

This place is very good. You should stay here. It's simple and straightforward, but you can tell that the owners/operators truly care and have sweated the details. This is a place where they can proudly invite their friends and family to stay. Name-brand toilet paper, nice shampoo and body wash and lotion, nice bathroom fixtures, nice towels, good mattresses, lots of hooks on the walls for hanging your gear, white noise machines to combat the train noise (which didn't bother me at all), and super easy self check-in. By far the best motel experience I've ever had. I'll be back.

The Outdoors Inn was the ideal place to rest my head after two days of skiing and the beginning of a long road trip. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and well-designed. The complimentary continental breakfast was just what I needed each morning. The service was friendly and generous. The pricing was very reasonable.

We were visiting Sand Point to ski Schweitzer. We stopped to stay the night at Outdoors Inn. The room was great, well decorated and efficient use of space. Not to mention the thoughtfulness with ear plugs, white noise, room darkening shade, etc. We slept very well. And the morning continental breakfast was great! Thanks for a great stay.

Cute hotel and perfect for a road trip! The room was recently renovated and includes many nice touches - water kettle, fridge, nice lighting, comfy bed and linens, etc. The bathroom was great and had a lovely soaking tub. Easy access with a code and excellent check-in/out comms. Such a nice find along my journey and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Manager and house keepers were on the spot and ready to help and give info! Super cute, clean and functional room! Everything was right where we needed it to be. Loved the old "motel style" drive up to your door. That was convenient and very accessible! Simple breakfast items to grab, but be sure to snag a country breakfast or lunch at the Hoot Owl Cafe just down the street! Railroad tracks across the street were no problem at all. I heard a faint rumble one of the nights.....such a comforting sound! Highly recommended! We'll be back for sure!

My family has a great one night stay! Some things I loved-easy to unload items from the car to room just steps away, comfortable beds/pillows, a very clean room, great value, and easy check in. Thank you so much Sam for accommodating us at check in. Would definitely recommend.
